Sunday evening, Rob and I were on the Zambezi River, watching 150 elephants bathing and playing in the water and mud. Yesterday morning we watched the spray rise in vast clouds over the Victoria Falls, raining down in drifting showers.
We are home now for a few days – time to squeeze in some preparatory work and planning for the New Year, get the laundry done, check the email and pay some bills – a quick reality-check after all this honeymooning. On Friday we head to Cape Town to meet up with Cynthia for a few more days of holidaying.
There will be details and photos, stories and commentary, all in due course. For the moment though, Happy New Year to everyone, and all good wishes from Glen and Rob.
